First Christmas gift this year

When did you get the first gift this year? Was it from a friend or a family member? How did you feel when you got this? Have you received any or still waiting for people to present you?

My first gift this year was from my students. The room mom got donations of money from the parents for a class gift for me. They presented me with a huge gift basket filled with all kinds of things and about 150 dollars in gift cards. Gifts are always nice to receive, but to see the looks on my student's faces is always priceless. So I have to go above and beyond just saying thank you---I have to look at every single thing and comment, etc. But, I love it!

My girlfriend at work who is NOTORIOUSLY early with gifts gave me a nice little vinyl clutch in white with red & yellow piping on the edges. Inside she got me hand lotion & body soap called "Christmas Cookie".

The first christmas gift I got was from my employer today, we had a dinner brought in at work and they gave us a duffle bag with the companies name on it.
