I hope someone can tell me what to do next. I took out a loan for $300.00 on July 19, 2006. I was debited $90.00 every two weeks until Sept. 22 when they took $140.00 and then $125.00 on OCt. 6, since then I haven't paid them anything, now they are telling me Lynn, Paul, and Taheerah that they are going to send the authorities after me and even called my supervisor to tell my supervisor they are sending the authorities. They are telling me that I still owe $365.00. My question is I live in new york city should I pay them the balance they are telling me or should I give them the $200 that I feel I owe them. They just keep harassing me and threatening to send officials to my work place. Please some one help me Im new to this forum. I don't know how to PM either so please help me with that.

twallace, welcome to the forums...i'm dealing with them aswell is all lies they cannot send the authorities to your work place , ms. taheerah acts very tough and she is very rude.

in my case i told them i paid them enough based on MA laws which payday loans are prohibited, at first they will give you fight and harrass you all the time.

it looks like you paid off the principal, you have to pay the money you borrowed.

someone here will post a link to your state's pdl laws which i think they are prohibited and polly's letter, use that file complaint with the bbb, the NY Ag's office and anyone who will listen and close you bank account ASAP they will continue to debit even after you send them the letter.

there is a lot of helpful information on this site about nationwide, take some time to read the post so will have and idea what your up against.

dont worry everything will be fine after you learn how to deal with them, good luck and keep us posted on your outcome. :D
