I was in a lot of sucky debt because of school and stupid credit cards. So I thought that I would take out some payday loans to help me get ahead but now I am TOTALLY SCREWED. I can't find addresses for some of these people and some of them won't make payment arrangements with me. They demand that I pay them my amount in full..............UM NO! I have no money that is why I took out the loan. Some of my loans are from:

Route 66 Funding
MTE Financial
DMS Marketing
B&L Marketing

Do you guys have any addresses for these people?!!!!!

Kylee, is that your name? Aah, don't blame yourself. Everyone goes through rough days and learns from their mistakes. Guess, if that would not have happened, you would have still continued using the payday loans. Now, I am sure you won't after going through all the mess.

Yes my name is Kylee! Unfortunately my parentals found out about my problem. Now they are trying to help me but I can't seem to get any of these places to work with me on payment plans. Gosh I only have so much money and I also have a lot of other bills. I guess I have learned my lesson but now I have to find a way out. Thanks for the contact info!

Kylee---whatever you have done or do, don't refer to yourself as stupid particularly when it comes to money matters. Yes, you made mistakes, BUT the important thing is you realize the mistakes and are taking measures to not make them again, right?

Do you realize how fortunate you are to have your parents helping you in this mess? I am not trying to lecture you, but so many, many young people have parents who don't care what happens to their children after they reach adulthood. Good Luck to you Kylee!

Kylee,
Being caught in the PDL mess is like being fat: there are a whole lot more of us out there than those who are petite, OK? If I had a dime for every person on these forums who has PDL issues, then I would be a rich woman!
The point is, you are definately not alone here--and you ARE in the right place. What I want you to do is promise me one thing: no more beating up of Kylee. The mess happened, and what we have to do now is fix it, OK? You have made the first step out of PDL hell! And I'm glad the parental units are there to help you!

Kylee, Check with your states' Dept. of Financial Instutions, or whatever agency regulates Pay Day Loans in your state. Chances are very good that B & L Marketing is not licensed to do business in your state. Every payday loan company, even internet ones, need to have a state license in EVERY state that they grant loans in. In addition they have to follow the laws and rules for that particular state for payday lending, NOT the laws for the state, or country their business is based in. For example in my state, Washington, the loan must be paid in full at the next payday and they can only charge 15% per hundred on loans up to $500. So for a $200 loan the fee is $30, so on the next payday they must take out $230 and pay the loan off in full. If they are not licensed in your state, and B & L Marketing is not licensed in mine, they have broken your states laws in loaning to you. File a complaint with your states Financial Licensing Division, the Attorney General in your state as well as your bank. I did! Be prepared though for threatening phone calls. Document every call with date, time, names and exactly what was said. They will probably violate all sorts of other U.S. laws by threatening arrest, garnishment, etc. That is also illegal. Report that as well. The FTC is also another option. Good luck!
