I just got a phone call from an very unintelligble man from Bass and Associates saying I had comitted fraud, wire transfer fraud etc ....that part doesn't frighten me as I know it's false but Apollo never answered my certified letter nor emails. I had a $300 loan - paid $180 in interest and have told them I will pay what I owe them LEGALLY back. (300=45 legal interest is 345-190 already paid is 165). As they just have these idiots making threats what can I do?

Does anyone have a correct address for Apollo? I sent it to an address in CO but now I think I may have messed that up.

Please any suggestions on how to deal with Bass & Associates or Apollo? I want to pay what I owe but not deal with threats etc

You don't have to face the threats put by any collection agency. You can file a legal case against Bass and Associates for doing this illegal thing. First check your state laws and then start recording their phone calls. Keep a note of all the calls with dates and time and the person talked with. This will be a legal evidence of their threats and sue them for FDCPA violations.

CAs need to validate the debt they are collecting for. You should send a debt validation letter for the info in writing. If they are unable to give you the specifics about the debt and still call you, it will add one more to their violation.

Call Apollo at 1-800-491-8615 and propose your payment plans. If they accept money from you, you won't have to deal with the CA.
