Well if anyone is out there, I got cut one more time from my waitress job tonight, not enough business so I am "on call" so to speak. This is a mom and pop pizza place that is situated in an older part of town in a dead strip mall (the smaller Wally world relocated to a new SuperCenter in a new developing part of town) so anyhow the pizza place does ho hum business. A Cheddars (anyone know this restauraunt?) is opening probably by the end of January in that new developing area so I will probably apply there for a part time job. I also got offered an administrative job three days a week with a possibilty to go full time. I start there January 2. I am excited about that as it will help me start to understand finances, money and taxes better. So unless I get a call I am off until next Friday. I will hang out here tonight and check for panic posts as I know many are out of town or last minute shopping.

Ashley -

let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas on this night before the night before Christmas! :-)

Sorry about your waitressing job - I know that's kind of a bummer, but like you said, it's opening up the opportunity for the administrative position that will help you understand more aspects of the financial world. So that's pretty cool!

I, too, am off from work until Jan. 2, so I will be here more frequently than normal. And, since my sleep patterns still haven't gotten off their roller coaster ride, I will quite likely be on here late at night at least a few times over the next week.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

You want to talk about crazy sleep schedules...

I started taking Wellbutrin about 1.5 weeks ago for depression/tension..Also for my fatigue..(More than likely brought on by dep. and tension..lol) It gives me nice energy during the day..And I don't have back pain anymore...

Well the problem is...I can't SHUT UP! I talk almost non stop..It drives me crazy not to talk...I had Chris up until 4 a.m. Thursday night...And until 3 a.m. last night...LOL I had to get up at 7 to go to work, and then I went to my family Christmas party...I'm BEAT...But the thought of going to bed right now drives me crazy because I know there are things that need to be done..lol

When I do fall asleep though, I sleep terrific....Once I can shut up..lol

I did talk to my cousin Cindi who's taken it before, and my other cousin's b/f Matt....Both of them said they couldn't shut up either..So I know that's why.

Anyone want to call me? I'll talk your ear off...lol

Karen, glad to see you kept the LNS fireplace stoked during the night as I just woke up (it's 3am here in TN) to blow my nose (yes it's Chritsmas and I have a cold). Anyhow I have published my Christmas blog entry and that will be it until 1/2/07. We are off to Atlanta this morning everyone please pray for a safe trip for my daughter and myself as the weather is bad (deluge of rain). okay back to bed until 6am, hopefully.

Lorri--Yes, the tension causes back pain and headaches. I thought a lot of the pain was coming from my scoliosis, but I haven't had much pain lately.

I hurt today, but I haven't had much sleep in the past few days...And i'm at work right now till Midnight..I'm hoping they send us home early, but I dont think that they are. :( Oh well...It's all time and a half.

Have a safe trip, Ashley! Hope you get to feeling better. And you too, Jessi! I have scoliosis, too, so I know how that is. I also have a lower spine that is sideways, instead of straight, leave it to me to have something weird!! As I have gotten older, the pain is pretty bad, but, have also learned to live with too!!..Karen

Karen--Don't worry...If ANYTHING weird can happen, it WILL happen to me..

Like last January when I got a piece of KFC chicken strip firmly lodged in my esophagus and spent half the night in the ER trying to get it out....

And when I was in college, the heater hose disconnected from the radiator in my car and sprayed antifreeze inside my car and burned my feet....

lol

Oh Jessi! Those antifreeze burns are horrible. I knew someone who was in a terrible rollover car accident - her airbags did NOT deploy, so she was badly banged up. But the worst part was that the radiator split open and the car landed upside down, causing all the contents of the radiator to drain into the car, onto her legs. She was very badly burned.

I hope you don't repeat any of those experiences, or have any new ones!

A Cheddars Resturant opened up in Asheville. It is
very buzy. Of course it helps that it near a
Super Wal-Mart. Cheddars has great food.

Go for it at Cheddars. I am glad you got the
administrative job and hope it works out into
something permanent.

Have a Prosperous New Year.

Karen - you are SO funny! I love the "I might be old but I'm not dead" phrase...I keep telling myself that!

Jessi - we're glad to see you back...sorry Christmas made you so tired - I think we're ALL glad all the running around is over. I just wish the SPIRIT of Christmas would last all year...I love this time of year. I'd keep my Christmas lights and tree up all year if my neighbors wouldn't form a lynch mob and come after me.

LOL..Jess, you knew just what I meant..But I whined to you about it, didn't I?

My husband is a dear, sweet, wonderful man who I love more than anything. But he is just a man...And can be very dense when it comes to buying presents. I am hoping for jewelry because in the summer he said he was saving his bonus check to buy me something fabulous for my birthday...(he was really happy with me, we had just refinanced the house and got a nice interest rate..) Well, what's more fabulous than jewelry? I hope he didn't forget...
