I too have many loans and am over my head and can't even find some of the web sites to try and payoff. I closed my account and only one company called me and threated me with jail. And bad check charges and banking fraud and internet fraud. I have had these loans since Aug. and every 2 weeks they take 90 to 110 out and I can't even try to pay more on the principle. I don't know what to do next? I do have OK Loans I'm paying as they have a good web site and I can't continue to do that and also payday select that I have a web site address and I continue to pay them. JoAnn

Welcome to the forums! Can you provide us a complete list of all of your payday loans, the companies they are from, the amount you borrowed, and how much you've paid? Also, what state you live in.

This information will allow the members here to provide accurate and helpful advice to you.

Also, since you've registered with this site, a consultant will be contacting you within a few days to discuss your options for debt consolidation or settlement. You may choose whether or not to utilize their services.

You need to do little homework.

Get the names of all the companies you have loans from.

Every state has its own payday loan laws. Know the laws of your state.

Pull your latest bank statements and calculate the payments done on each of the loan accounts. Keep the laws in front so that you can do proper calculations and get the current status of the accounts. Depending upon the payments done, you will know if there is any outstanding balance with the lender or you need a 'paid in full' letter from them.

I am not sure who or exactly how many I believe I have 4 that I could not find the web site for. It appears they may have changed names. @ they contacted me have refused to give me any information. Only threated me. I have e-mailed them and ask for them in everyone, but he never sent them and the last 2 e-mails I sent he deleted with out reading. I copied from my computer. I live in Florida. The 2 I have that web sites have not changed I'm continuing to pay. Were would I go to see Florida laws on computer payday loans? As I told them I'm not saying I don't owe money, I just what to know how much is left and try to pay off sooner, They just keep taking $90.00 on one and a $110.00 on the other. When I went back to the web site to pay more on the loan than interest is when I found I couldn't find them. I had them saved on my favorites and the sites are just gone. I didn't know how else to get them to contact me and the bank recommend to close the account and they would then contact me, they have but still with no loan info. JoAnn

Joann: The fact that they won't give you contact info means that more than likely, they're operating illegally. Check the laws of your state (see Jessi's post) and see if PDLs are allowed in your state. Then do a google search on Pollyandsay's blog, click on your state and see if those companies are licensed, if that is a requirement of your state. Good luck.
