UCL is affiliated with Rio Resources. There are so many topics about them here. Recently, they are using one of their DBA name MTE Financial to carry on their illegal ways of making money. This company is famous for unauthorized debits in people's accounts. They will suck you dry by charging excessive interest rates and fees on the loan accounts. These charges are not mentioned in any state laws. They are an illegal business and you must report their actions to your local AG and the BBB.

I have a loan with UCL but when I placed them in debt consolidation, they have not contacted me nor bothered me. Sometimes, I even forget that I have them because they never say anything (which reminds me: I need to contact them to see what my balance is). I know that they have been hell to people before.
