You all may feel like I don't deserve to be a debt samaratin, but i was invited 3 weeks ago. My birthday weekend actually, so i thought what a great gift. Then i log on and nothing changed. Why invite me if it wasn't going to happen. It was a little disappointing. and yes i will still continue to post if not ever given the position.

Beauty, you have only been a member for about a month. It took 5-6 months, before I became one. Besides, it's just a title, you can still post and help others. SueBEE is right, I got an invitation for the future, too. It was another several months before it happened. Keep posting and helping others, that is what the purpose of this site is for, any how..KAren

Hi Beauty, I was the one to ask you whether you will continue posting here if you are not given the role. You responded positively. Thanks for staying here.

I read the posts you did today. A single word to describe all your posts is "Being professional and helpful". If I guess right, you were offered the role just because of this quality in you. It will remain there and you will surely get the role, maybe sometime in the future. Today, I saw the best of you and after reading each, I feel you are a huge cove of information at such a young age. Trust me; this is a big quality in you.

I think it can be imagined why the role was not offered this time. Somewhere in the corner, you also know because of which you sound apologizing. Don't take it deeply to the heart. Everyone is watched here. There is no one here who can say "Hey, I did so much in this site, but the site admin never looked at me" You are a valuable member here and I am sure everyone will feel nice talking to you. :)

Beauty, please don't make it so important..because it's not. No one is going to consider your advice any differently if you do or don't have a title. Like everyone else, I waited 6 months to be a debt sam...I know people have done it in shorter times, but why let it drive you? In my opinion..And please don't take this the wrong way...Obsessing over it like this takes something away from it.

There was something that happened between the day you were invited for the role and Saturday when the announcement was done, right?? I think it was unnecessary.

Let's say a person works under you and you told him that he will get a raise on the 15th. Suddenly, you found serious flaws in his work and that is very risky to your business. You came to know about it on the 13th. What will you do?

Beauty -

Many here think you would be a good Debt Samaritan.

But please take into consideration the things mentioned by flyingcats above. Many of your posts have been very informative and helpful. But on the other hand, many of your posts have been aggressive and challenging in nature, and have inflamed other members into responding to you in a negative manner.

I do not say these things to hurt your feelings, Beauty. I say them to make you aware that your own actions have caused you to miss out on the very thing you seem to want most. If you want to be considered for the role of Debt Samaritan, it appears you will need to start from the beginning once again, and post only helpful, courteous information, and resist the temptation to respond to negative posts.

I agree completely with Flying Cats and Sue..

Beauty, how about this...Why don't you just forget that the title of Debt Samaritan even exists. Post because you want to help, and be as helpful and kind as you can. You are helpful and kind, I've seen it. If you do this, and say nothing at all about being a debt samaritan, you will get noticed.

Beauty,

Please don't despair. I have been helped very much by your posts. You give us insight that others might not be able to. That is a blessing to many people here. I know your chance will come again. We should keep our main objective in focus - helping others. Things will fall into place for you.
