I recently paid a ATT bill that fits the pattern of some of the ones I have been reading that Pallisades files. I fought this for years and finally settled with the law firm. Now I pull my credtit and I am showing pallisades on there for 89.00 I settled the 900>00 bill with ATT through a lawyer. Now I queston the validity of even that bill. Pallisades never answered any of my questions or called me. Who can I report all this too. The debt is settled I have the letter from the attorney. Is Pallisades in bed with ATT???

ATT sends all their files to Palisades for collections. Most of them are disputed and consumers are called with incomplete / wrong information.

Collections entry is a derogatory remark in your credit. Make sure that it does not stay there for long if it's because of false reporting. Call Palisades at 201-567-5648 and ask reasons for hitting your credit. You need to fix this problem at the earliest.

Place a dispute to the CRA reporting this item. Send one copy to Palisades also and ask them to remove their reporting from your credit if they are unable to give you the required info.

I got a bill from Pallisades Collection and I already know that I will never pay it. It is for about 2,600.00 for a repossesion on a car in 1995! The year is 2007 now, so the "debt" is 12 years old.

That is a 12 year old dispute over a car that was taken back in good condition and resold.

I think Pallisades buys really, really old charges from anyone and simply bills you to see if you will simply write them a check.

Dealing with Pallisades is like dealing with the insane. I consider them crooks and fully insane and impossible to deal with.
