Hi! I have a Dr.s bill which was unfair and when I objected he turned the bill over to a collection agency. My question: is this going to stay on my credit report for ever or fall off after 7 years? Thanks for any help!

I would say the answer to your question lies in whether this doctor's office decides to pursue a warrant in debt, judgement and then garnishment of your wages, which they can do, if you do not pay the bill.

I have had judgements placed against me for medical bills in the past - they do not drop off your credit record until paid, and then they still show as a judgement - they just show as a "satisfied judgement".
