Generally the cards that you place under consolidation program are frozen for particular time period and this is done for your benefit only. However, you can keep one of your cards out of the program so that you can use it during emergency.

Since you have registered, one counselor is supposed call you; discuss these things with them, also inform us how it goes, all the best :D
