I gave the University of Phoenix my cell# (required)yesterday when I requested info. From 8:30 this morning until 5:37 tonight, I have received 4 calls. When I googled the number(602)713-4343, the state of AZ was what came up. It is logical it is the U of Phoenix - but why no message? And why 4 calls? This annoyance is nothing anyone wants, I don't know what kind of sales pitch these ppl think they are giving - "Hi, I annoy you, what do you mean you don't want want to patronize my business?" It puts me off the idea of speaking to them to a large degree before I even pick up the phone. I think it is nearly (if not totally) a form of harrassment.

You should give a call and get your name removed from their system. It should not be a problem. It was necessary to give your cell # for some info. That doesn't mean you cannot stop the marketing calls coming your way.

I know what you are talking about. I gave them my number for some information and told them they could call me later in the evening, and they ended up calling me at 9:28 a.m. I'm pretty sure nine in the morning is not late in the evening. Not to mention the fact that they called me during my first hour class.

I keep receiving calls as well...yeah, why don't they just leave a message. We obviously asked for information so be up front. I had to google the number too and here I am. Have already called to be removed from list. You should do the same. Good Luck!
