I also received a payday loan from MTE. I had to contact my bank because I needed to know where it came from. I also noticed they removed $140.00 from my account recently. I was given a 866 number to call. I only applied for Cashnet also. Are these people legitimate?

Sony, did you apply for a payday loan over the internet? If you have a copy of the contact with Cashnet, you might see DBA MTE financial at the top of the contact. MTE Financial might be a business name for CashNet

I do receive cash advances from Cashnet but their name appears clearly on my statement and I see the transactions, but I have not applied for any other cash advances.
