OK - I just got an e-mail from these ppl and they are telling me that they cannot talk to my attorney without court papers.
"Again, We need legal court papers in order to speak with your attorney."
This is the 3rd e-mail that I have sent to them in the last 24 hours. Am I stupid - I could swear that my attorney said to forward all calls to him - in fact I have a paper with that written on it. I am not stupid - but I certainly am dealing with morons!!

Sigh!! Ask your attorney to get in touch with them directly.

That's just some garbage they're throwing at you to try and put
That's just some garbage they're throwing at you to try and put off speaking to an attorney. I know that when someone signs up with a debt settlement company, they sign a limited power-of-attorney document that gives the debt settlement company the ability to act on your behalf to settle debts and discuss your accounts with creditors, so could this be what UpFrontPayday are requesting?
