Hi krbrg1, Just browse through this forum. You will find many posts here telling about their pdl experiences. I am also fighting with the same issue. It's now getting hard to continue with the payments.
Who are your loans with? And, what state are you in?

Are they store front or internet payday loans? I also work at a bank and got into it pretty deep with pdl. I ended up having to open an account at another bank so I could be sure my higher-ups weren't tracking my account activity. I know that they weren't supposed to do that, but I know for a fact that they did. My HR contact had told me that I couldn't be let go becuase of how my personal account is handled, but when my DM wanted someone else for my position, she used my personal acct info as one of the reasons to let me go. She made up other reasons, too. When I called her on it (using my personal acct info as leverage), she said that it was becuase it broke the Code of Ethics for the bank. I can understand that, but you need to watch out if your going down that road. Can you say what bank you work for? You can just give initials if that's more comfortable for you.

Welcome to the site, now that you have registered with us a counselor will be contacting you soon to discuss your options. Most places out there will work with you in consolidating those payday loans. IF you are not in a position to close your account, I know stop-payments will be costly, can you put a hold on all debits and open up a new account. I also work for the bank I bank at and I just had the branch manager freeze my account of all debits. I know banks are all different.
First, I should ask are you dealing with online or storefront lenders? How long have you had these loans and how much have you paid towards them so far. Take a look at this website paydayloaninfo.org and make sure you have not been overcharged.
Revoking authorization from further debits on your account is the first thing you want to do.

I work at a small bank. They only have 5 branches in my area. Its just embarrassing to tell them that why I need to close the account. My husband doesn't know how may loans I have out and he is wondering where money is going. I need help...and I need it quick :) I live in Missouri...all the loans are internet loans...Magnum cash advance, paydayok, payday one, urgentcashadvance, and cashnetusa.com

IF you don't want to close your account then you need to prepare letters revoking authorization to make any more debits from your account. Now with this, you may have to show your bank the letter because there is a chance the companies will debit your account anyway and the bank will have to reverse it once they see you revoked authorization.
I actually had two accounts that the PDL's were hitting and I only closed one. I never told the Banker or branch manager why I was closing the account.
I dealt with two of the companies you mentioned; paydayok and paydayone and they never gave me any problems. They were willing to accept my payment arrangements. Once the tried to hit my closed account they just emailed me asking them to contact them to make arrangements.
