I am a single parent, full time student with $ 10- $15 thousand in credit debt. I am recently seperated and now have a minimal income, before my husband was around to help with payments. The only income I have is through the VA. I want to pay back what i owe but can only do so much now.

Send a cancellation letter to the mailing address of the credit
Send a cancellation letter to the mailing address of the credit card company and request for an acknowledgement. You will have paper track of the cancellation done from your side.
