DebtCC Blog Hunt is an excellent opportunity to make your blog popular. Thanks DebtCC for making such a nice event. I have submitted my blog for the January 2007 contest. While submitting my blog, I noticed a nice thing that can bring 1000 votes for me this month :D
Yes I am talking about Support My Blog stuff. It is a simple code that I have to put in my blog. When visitors come to my blog, they get the option to vote for my blog. Also I have asked my friends to place the code in their blog if they want to support me. This way I can get more votes this month.

One can ask me that why I am so much addicted to blogs? The reason is; I am the admin there (as Vikas in DebtCC, LOL). I can write on any topic in my blog and no court can sue me (I will not use my blog to defame anybody and that’s for sure). I set the rules of my blog and feel like a KING :D

- DebtCC Blog Hunt is a search for good resources for the community. Since the community is all about Debt and Credit, it will be better to cover financial posts in your blog if you want to win. If you look at the winning blogs: budgetingbabe.blogspot.com and lashleyl06.blogspot.com; both are financial blogs. So I have decided to post lots of financial articles and my views on recent debt and credit happenings in my blog this month.
- I will definitely put a link to my Blog Hunt thread in my forum signature, so that more people can come to know that I am participating in the Blog Hunt.
- I will be visiting good blogs and comment over there (good comments, not spam) and once I build up a rapport with those bloggers, I would ask them to come to Blog Hunt and vote for my blog.
- I would use all the features available with blogs. If I don’t understand any technical term, I would contact Vikas/Mike/Simon. I have already tried Technorati tags and guys it’s awesome :D I have found my blog post in Technorati site live…just think - millions of people had read it.

I want to add something more about the Support My Blog code. This feature is currently available for the default blog template only (the template used). Our tech team is working hard to make the feature available for all the existing templates.
And, those who want to earn DebtCC points through blog posts, please add your Blog Name within your Edit Profile.
