The week after Christmas, my bank account was frozen by Palisades Collection, LLC for an old AT&T phone bill (allegedly). I went to court to find out what happened, because Palisades never contacted me, and filed an order to show cause. I then went to the file room to look at my case, and they claimed to serve a "co-tenant" in my building, and the description provided wasn't even near that of anyone that lives in my building! What can I do to get rid of this? My bank account is frozen, and I'm afraid they will just take all of my money!
