I am 20 years old and have put myslef in a bad situation. I have put myself in to so much debt that I can't think straight. I am moving to Chicago in May and I owuld like to get my debt under control. I am not looking for the program where my debt is settled. I want to get all my debt into one place and make one payment. I would like to pay it off in hte next year to two years at a decent interest rate. I am currently employed at McCarthy Building making approx. 1500/month. The job I am taking in May will bump my pay up to $2,000/month. I have a car payment of $550 that will lower to $100 in March. I also have a rental property that I am paying $600/month. If you can help me with consolidating my debt that would be great. I am trying to take away my Debt from my creditors so that I may bring my credit back up. I owe Aprrox. $18,000 to approx. 6 different creditors. Please call if you can help.

Have you put any proposals to your creditors? Try to negotiate with them on your own and work out something. If it works, you won't have to include those accounts in the consolidation. Consolidate those accounts on which your creditors are not willing to reduce the interests. You should first give a call and see if there is any option for you. Look into the DIY section for help.
