They are also calling and harrasing me saying they are sending the law to my job and charging me with internet fraud. is this legal?

I got several payday loans and my bank closed my account due to over draft fees. So I have been tring to make payment arrangements but they are being absurd.

Can you please be a little clearer? Are you getting calls from the pdl places or they have sent your account to collections that is now making the calls? Debt collections are restricted within the FDCPA laws, creditors aren't. Put your written payment request to the lenders and send some money along with it. If they cash your check, your proposal will be understood as accepted and you can stick with the payments.

I also closed my account when I had internet PDLs. They cannot arrest you, so don't worry. This is just some more of their silly scare tactics. If you register as a member on here, you can speak with a debt counselor who can give you some more advice and point you in the right direction.

You said everybody sounds forgein. Were these taken out over the internet? Nobody is going to come to your job a arrest you for defaulting on these ipdls. What are the names of the companies? If you give the names people who have dealt with them could give your their experiences and how the handled them.
