I have been recently divorced and while waiting for my home to sell I have not been able to manage the monthly outgoing money as it is less than the monthly incoming. I have found myself behind and late on credited accounts which has in turn raised the monthly interest rates, which puts me even further behind. I do not want creditors faced with searching for payment nor do I want to neglect my responsibilities.

Hello Sean and welcome to the forums. I can appreciate your situation and I am sure most everybody on here can relate as well. Needless to say you have come to the right place and are already on the right track as you registered as a member. Registering allows for you to receive a free phone call from a debt counselor. The debt counselor can discuss in detail with you what your best options are regarding your debts and if you should consolidate or what. Check out the forums and ask any questions.
