Unfortunately, no! The original creditor does not have your file in their system. It is sold to the collection agency who now becomes the current creditor. And, they are authorized to collect the fees and court costs that occurred during filing the judgment?

Your file has to be with the original creditor if they are to accept your payment arrangements. It doesn't matter if you were sued or not. Once the debt is sold to any outside collection agency, the creditor earns their dollars. The collection agency makes further contacts with people to recover their costs.
