It's actually a very simple process. Or, in the alternative, you can look in the yellow pages for someone who pursues judgments. It's usually a former paralegal or a private investigator. There is a small upfront fee and in most cases their fees are added into the garnishment so that you get no less than what you were awarded through the courts.

I was awarded a judgement against my ex husband. We were both on Soc. Sec. Disabilty and he has 2 retirement pensions. Can I garnish any or all of those assets?
