debt programs

I just signed up and was matched with a company.

Before I receive a phone call I was hoping for some advice or some possible answers..

I am so unfamiliar with debt programs such as managment, settlement and consolidation.

I have some debt that is in collections and has been for a while. 2 accounts are with NCO (yuck). 1 of the accounts is a BoA account, should I try working with BoA directly 1st and just include my other accounts if I decide to go and try to work out a program of some sort?

Also, has anyone on here had success with a debt management program??????? Do CA's and creditors usually agree to a debt management program? Now my paranoia is that they wont except... ARGGH

I can't even find CCCA (consumer credit counseling of america) website.

Are there other ways of me finding a reputable company?

Does anyone on here work with CCCA?
