I had filed complaints with AG and DOF to no avail, but just got letters that Department of Commerce and Insurance, Consumer Affairs division was responding to my complaint and was going to contact 4 companies I made a complaint against and mediate on my behalf. I am really pleased I have finally received something positive and willing to pursue. There might still be hope for refunds of overpayments and all marked PIF.

That's FANTASTIC news for you! Congratulations! I'm sorry that your state AG wouldn't help - that's something we haven't seen before, that I know of, so I think we were all wondering why. I'm so glad you were able to find another avenue to handle this, though, and I'm sure you'll find yourself in a much better situation soon! :D
