I noticed that the creditor has been deducting from my account for over a year and I havent received an e-mail or anything in the mail. What should I do?

A ton of these sneaky companies will just keep deducting the fee over and over and over until you contact them to pay in full. They probably don't send out reminders because it helps them make more money.
Also what state do you live in, because there may be a chance you have overpaid depending on your state laws.
You can look that up on paydayloaninfo.org

Check with your state laws for the permissible charges. Go through your bank statements and know the actual amount. If you have paid excessively, show the proof to your bank supervisor. He will put a dispute with the Loan Company and get the charges reverted back.

Do you have the contract with the pdl? You have a case against them for unauthorized debits.
