I have been reading the negative posts that seem to go on and on. I would like to start a positive post that would be of help to everyone. I know that many of you have complained to the AG offices of your states. But, have you found out what lobbyists are out there working to shut these people down? If so, could they use your help? Would the people with points be willing to donate them to fund a trip to Washington? The payday loan companies have people working for them in congress. What are the names of senators and congressmen/women who have tried to pass legislation for your state? Who are the names of those who voted AGAINST legislation to stop or curb payday lenders. You could do an extensive letter writing campaign to the elected officials of your state. Start a petition and send it to congress. Call your congressman, call your senator. Find out if there is legislation pending in your state and get your butt to your state capital to try to make sure that it is passed. Anything but this bickering back and forth. PLEASE!
