I have a lot of debts, and I would like to pay them all off, like get a loan to pay them all off, then just pay that one loan off, so I'm not paying to 20 different places, just one. I know I could do this, I am just worried because I know now that my credit might not be so good. So I want to know if there is somewhere where they will help me out with this. Thanks-Bryan

Welcome to the Community Bryan :D Here is a link that describes the benefits of debt consolidation at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/benefits.html you can combine all of your unsecured debts into one payment, with lower interest. You can discuss this and other options with the debt counselor when they contact you. Keep us posted!!..Karen

Mary, I would recommend that you contact each of your credit card companies and discuss payment options that you can set up until you clear up all of your debts. Or I would recommend debt consolidation which will assist you in paying off your credit cards in a manner that is reasonable and you can afford.

Burns, I have been in that situation before and I thought that by getting a loan, it could alleviate all of my problems. Instead, it makes it worst. What I would recommend to you is that you consider debt consolidation and not a debt consolidation loan which will have you in debt further. The one thing you don't need is to be in debt any more than you already are.

Good luck to the both of you.
