I'm not sure that the money would be received if you sent it to NY. I tried to send them money orders and they wouldn't give me an address. I asked to send via MoneyGram - they wouldn't accept. All they wanted was a bank account .. it didn't even matter if it was mine or not all they wanted was a bank account. Since I wouldn't give them one (because I closed mine and got a new one), they started threatening me.
