You don't need to be paying this company at all. He is not going to give you the address, because they are in the process of being civilly sued by several attorneys and probably the State of Florida in due time. That is the only reason they are not giving you the address. Well that and the fact they are probably owned by Bass or Ellis Crosby, so they don't want to give out the fact they are housed out of the same office.

If you really wish to settle this account, you need to contact the entity who owns the account (most likely ICollect or the original PDL) and make arrangements with such company.

Now granted that debt may be huge to you,but it would cost them five to ten times the amount just to get to civil court. They would also have to prove this is a legal debt and that they are licensed to loan & collect on said debt in your resident state. The way I see it he is blowing some serious smoke and he cannot do anything except try to scare you.

But for those who have been terrorized by these people, you will need to prove you are who you say you are, an attorney suing this bottom feeder collection agency. For anybody knows you could be with this company and seeking information from the victims and using it against them.

I am glad to hear that someone is standing up to these companies and having success. maybe it is about time that we all do this to payday loan companies. It will be interesting to see what would happen when the consumers start harassing the companies to give them their money back or to get them to leave them alone.
