Many are known for trying to obtain money, many times more than what the states allow, legally or illegally. Bosslady, you need to contact the bank and request that the bank either close your bank account or investigate the situation. Do you know what company is? Have you ever had a payday loan before? If so, I would contact each of these companies and ask whether they have tried to tap into your account recently.
You may also try to close your checking account. It might be the best way since your bank is allowing transactions to go through without your permission.
I don't know what bank you have but with the bank I have I filled out a form called a Statement of Unauthorized Debit where by it blocks the individual from tapping into your account period. I hope that this helps you.
