Okay........here it goes! Back in 2003 I went to a really really expensive private school so that I could try to get my schooling over with because you could earn a degree in one year or less. Yah that was a very bad idea. I ended up failing almost all of my classes. Well then I got slammed with the huge tuiton payment that was over 3 thousand dollars. Well at the time my parents couldn't help me with it and they kinda treated it like my punishment for screwing up school was that I had to pay my tuition. Well I was doing okay making payements on the balance until about 2006 the beginning of the year. I was inbetween jobs like you wouldn't believe. Well finally in the last couple of months the collection agency was threatning to sue me cause I stopped making payments. I couldn't afford them sorry! So stupid me decided to go online and take out a few payday loans (more like 9 payday loans) and now I am TOTALLY SCREWED!!!!!!! Sure I paid a lot of my tuition off but now I can't pay the loan companies off. Today at work I got a threatening phone call from this horribly mean man saying that they are filing a case against me bcuz they believe I have no intent to pay off my debt. THAT IS JUST WONDERFUL! I had to close my chking account and reopen one bcuz I owed the bank so much money. I have dug myself my own grave. HELP ME.........WHAT DO I DO?!

Calculate the total payments made on each account. Then, check for the companies licensed in your state. Those with a valid license are allowed to add charges and fees on your account. But those who are not licensed in your state, you have one point in your defense. Refer to your state laws for knowing the permissible charges.

Here is the link to your state's pdl laws. Also, it appears IN does not allow roll overs. You will also need to file a complaint with your state's AG office as well as with the Dept. of Financial Institutions which the link below provides contact info. to do. Another note: MTE was just ordered by Oklahoma to cease and desist all operations which includes collecting on current outstanding loans, you should also file a complaint with Oklahoma's Attorney General's Office regarding MTE.

This company isn't licensed in your state, they won't be stepping foot into the courtroom, they would have to answer to the judge as to why they are operating without a license. If you have already paid the principal and legal interest rate your state allows for pdls demand they mark you paid in full. Include that this is the resolution you are seeking when you file your complaints.

Making threats is just like throwing hot air. Keep in mind that you don't give them space and take actions against you. Out of moral obligations, try to pay back the principal amount first. Then you may pay the interest and fees if they have a legitimate business in your state. Check the company license carefully. This is one point based on which you will prepare your defense.

Should I just pay the principal amount on the other loans then since they are also now licensed in my state?! How can I get the places to send my money to.........they refuse to tell me. I would send them pymt but they are too busy screaming at me about taking me to court. I get frustrated cause I have no address for them :(

I talked to a lady about my debt problems last night. She told me that she could turn all of my money that I owe into one monthly pymt. It sounds like a good idea to me bcuz then I could get all the collection a**holes off my back and I will be able to breathe again. What do you guys think?! I

If you have paid back the principal dont consolidate. You need to call your Attorney Generals office consumer division and ask to speak to somebody about this matter. Figure out how much you have paid in total on each of these loans. KYSIDE38

It is up to you whether to consolidate or not. Mte Financial has been ordered to not make any more loans in the state of Oklahoma. Most of the places you listed are probably no0t licensed in your state. Please seek Attorney Generals advice before you do anything. It cant hurt to try. KYSIDE38
