I have been reading several past posts about this company....They sound like a real BAD company to deal with. I DO have a loan with them for 150.00. I have paid the 59.00 fee for months now. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to let them know that I do believe I have paid MORE then enough of the origial loan and would like to see if they will let me send in a Money Order. I was told when I got the loan that this call was recorded. Can they use that against me? Tuesday they are going to take out 59.00 fee. I dont have the extra money to do that. Any suggestions?
I agree with you all...When I called them I got a man that you could hardly understand. He did not speak english. I do not want to be intimated by these sharks but I need to know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

Route 66 is really bad about calling people at work to harass them about their loan payments. It is so embarassing to have someone constantly calling you that you can not understand. When they called yesterday I stated that I could not talk to them right now and asked for a number to call them back at. After a long pause the man gave me a name and number stating that he would be leaving work soon. I told him I would call back when I could. I called and told them that my bank account was closed that there was no way for me to pay them by check...they asked if I could ask someone else with a checking account to pay for my loans...I said no!! I don't want a family member or friend in this type of hell..I stated that if they wanted to get paid they would either have to accept a money order or other form of payment....after a long time on hold the girl "Betty" that I was speaking with agreed to let me pay by MoneyGram...I will be done with them by Feb 10th...I am so looking forward to that!

The problem regarding the calls to works is something i always criticize, the problem is that the customers think that we make the calls manually, not, is the system that dials the calls randomly, and we cannot stop that, what i do is if the customers request not to be called at work, i put a note on that account and with the authorization of a manager i block the system not to dial this number in the again.
But the thing is that most of the time is much easier to contact customers to their work #, cause most of the time they dont answer the cell #, and when they get to their houses we????re already off the job.
