I have a loan with paydayselct.com for 200 dollars. I have paid them about 200 dollars in finance charges already. My balance states I owe $257. I called them up wanting to pay the $180 the CS rep said I had to pay about a month ago and be paid off in full. Today they said no, they will only accept the $257. Is there anything that I can say or do that will help me out here. I'm willing to pay $400 dollars on a $200 dollar loan but I don't really feel like giving them another $70. BTW I already closed my checking account so there is no way that they can keep deducting payments from there.
Thanks

Welcome to the Community :D Here is a link on them and what someone else did to satisfy their loan with them at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/oklahoma/pdl-pif.html they are an internet pdl, and chances are, operating illegally in your state. You can check out your states laws on the web site for your attorney general. Google them and see the other many posts about them. Keep us posted on what happens..KAren

Go through the fine prints and confirm all the charges are legit. Compare it with your state laws. If you find anything disputed, fill up the dispute / argument form and forward it to the company. Be aware of your legal rights and contact your state AG if the company is doing anything that is not allowed by your state laws.
