Has anyone dealth with either of these companies? I had a PDL with Aero Advance. The loan was for 350.00, on 12/20/06 I sent them a letter stating that I had paid then 352.00 in interest and 10.00 in principal and wanted my account marked paid. I have never heard from them since. Today I got a call, and my mother got a call, from Mr. Bronson at Affirmed Lewis Alan Associates stating that today is the last day to settle the account or it will be presued legally including court cost and attorney fees. I told him that I disagreed with the procedure as this company has never contacted me back, and he told me that I could not contact them because it would be consided a form of harrasement as they have filed 2 claims against me, and i could only deal with him. Very threatening. What will happen next, and what should I do?

I did a search on the BBB site and the company is Allen Lewis & Associates in Jacksonville, FL. They do not have a very good rating with the BBB due to numerous unanswered complaints and practices. Anyone dealt with them?

I dealt with Allen and Lewis with for my loan with Mycashnow. They were not nice at all and called me at work all the time. They wouldn't accept any of my payment arrangements. I finally got them to split the balance in two payments and then they insisted on only receiving the money automatically from my checking account....I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE NEVER TO DO THIS WITH A COLLECTION AGENCY

I just called the PDL company Aero Advance that Allen & Lewis Associates say the represent and they were very nice to talk to and sort of apologized for the behavior that I received. i had to leave a message for another gentlemen, but the first one I spoke with seemd to think that the second one could help me. so I an just waiting for a call back.

If Aero Advance is accepting payment from you, do it so that you don't have to deal with the CA. They will notify the collection company about your payment arrangement and pull your file that is with them.

Welcome to the forums. I had a loan with Aero Advance last year that I defaulted on. I was able to make payment arrangements with them via money order. I did not have to give out any of my banking information or anything else. I'm sure you will have no problem there. I received a call from Allen Lewis & Associates myself at the end of December. This was for an old loan that I am fighting with mycashnow. They were very rude and threatening to me as well. I filed a complaint against them with the FTC as well as my state's attorney general's office. I also sent them (CA) a cease and desist letter.
