Call the CA at 888-665-0374 and inquire about the reporting done in your credit report. They must validate the debt so that you can review it and make payment arrangements with them. If you know the debt is still with the original creditor, try arrangements with them.
The point is if you know this debt is legitimate, pay it off and improve your credit ratings. Having said that, you must make sure that you pay to the right company and they are authorized to report in your credit file.
