im in trouble because i have 4 outstanding payday loans. and they keep calling me but i can hardly pay my rent and bills.. i only make 10$ an hour. i want to pay my debts but yesterday i got a call saying he was gonna turn me in for check fraud. i got really scared and i took some of my rent money to pay some of it. can you guys help me please?? i dont want to go to jail.

You can not go to jail for defaulting on the internet pdls. They are going to threaten this, and that is illegal. You won't go to jail. Pay your rent and block these companies from your account or close the account and open a new one. Then file complaints with your attorney general's office as well as with the AG in the states which these internet companies are located.

Do a search with the names of the pdl companies you are dealing with. Do you see the google search box at the top of the page? Put the keyword in the box and you will find many links in which people are discussing their experiences with the pdl places. Get an idea and deal with the situation in a better way. No need to be worried. You will be fine.

Which internet payday loans do you have and what are your outstanding balances? Have you looked into the laws in your state to see what rights you have?

I am really sick and tired of these payday loans calling people on their jobs and harassing them when they have explained to them that they cannot pay them because of circumstances. I understand how you feel because I was in the same boat as you. But when I found this website, I found a new ray of light. Thank God I found people who understood what I was going through. I felt so alone and broke. When I didn't even have money to buy me a pair of shoes that's when I knew it was over for me.

I would recommend that you either close your account or request that your bank fill out a Statement of Unauthorized Debit on these people which blocks them from entering your account no matter what balance they put in. It worked for me and I didn't have to close my account. Now, I work through a debt consolidation firm and they get their money each month. What a relief for me.

If your bank does not know of such form (like my bank claimed that they didn't know of such a form, yeah right), I would recommend that you close your account period and try to open an account with another bank. Do not place a stop payment on your account as that does nothing more than places a stop payment on a particular amount and you have lost $29.

Good luck to you and I hope that everything works out for you. You have come to the right spot.

Kilosouthside: I'm in Utah too. This state supports storefront pdls if you've been reading the news lately. But they don't have any legislation on internet pdls. We already have at least one that is parked in this state illegally. Please let me know what companies the pdls are with and I will try to help you. If you wish, you can PM me. I'm happy to help and you might find it comforting to know there's someone nearby.
