Hi everyone,
I decided to take everyones advice and take care of the ipdls myself.
I was just wondering how long its takes for some of these ipdl to respond to the templete letters I sent out? I received some back that address' arent good, Platinum B svcs, quikpayday, those are the only ones that I received for "unable to forward" on it.

Thanks
Traci925

I was able to settle mine within a week, but not only did I send the letters, I also filed a complaint with my AG's office. Thanks to them a few marked me as paid in full by the next afternoon. The others followed within a weeks time. I'm not sure how they decide who to deal with quicker than others, sometimes it has taken others longer. I think it all depends who receives your letter first.

I wondered about all of this, I sent them out Jan 9th, I'm still getting some of the receipts back. Did most of yours mark paid in full? Did they call you or send letters to you? I filed complaints with the AG's. I guess its a wait and see thing. Check n go sent me a letter. saying when I received my loan electronically signed the docs on the website that the loan was provided by First Bank of Del, not check n go. Avante TelAdvance, inc d/b/a check n go online. The consumer loan agreement was between me and FBoD. Does that sound right?

Sometimes you have to send the letters multiple times a day to get them to respond. Mine were marked PIF. Some people have sent multiple e-mails and faxes a day to the companies in order to get a response out of them. I've not dealt with Check N Go. I know the rules for banks is different than other states.

Steelers,
When you filed complaints with AG was that by letter or email or a phone call? I sent letters. I need to send letters or emails to each paydaylenders state AG right? I just did the PA AG.

How did you word your complaints with the other AG's office. Have you ever heard anything about Platinum B services/ezpayday. I sent a letter to that one and I got it back undeliverable.

I've not dealt with that company, but I know others here have. I was able to get my accounts settled before I heard from the other AGs' offices. They sent me notification they were in receipt of my complaints. I did follow up with them to let them know the situation(s) were resolved. Never heard back from the other AGs' since letting them know I was able to resolve the matters.

Steelers1,
So your saying give it some time and keep sending complaints to the AG's office. What was in your complaints to the AG's office, do you have a template letter for that too. Isnt it horrible we all have to learn the hardway. Thank goodness you are here to help all of us. I do feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel after coming to this website. Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the worst mothers on the earth to have gotten into such a financial pitfall. Life's not easy thats for sure.

Don't feel that way. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I didn't write a letter to the AGs' offices, I used their complaint forms and stated my complaint in the appropriate section and the resolution I was seeking in that section. You have blocked these guys from your account right? One thing you don't have to worry about is going to jail despite any threat they say to you. You will be able to get these settled. Sometimes it takes a while, like I said, I'm not sure why some can do it quicker with a company and then that same company gives another person the run around. I really think it is the luck of the draw on who receives your letters first.

I used to be a banker, I know my fdcpa information. I'd never work for a bank ever again. They are the worst kind of cheats, well, next to ipdl. The odd thing about all of this, is they havent been calling on the phone. Stange. I havent heard from Platinum b services since june 12th, It went to a collection agency and I havent heard from them either. Its all about TIME, I see that.
Thanks for all your help this evening, I'll keep in touch with the progress.

Hi irish51cc,
I will do that too, anything to get these companies to stop the insanity. These loans are just killing the "average joe." If we dont stick up for ourselves who will. Thanks

Can someone tell me where to find these template letters. Also, there must be some sort of order to follow in sending these. Any advice is appreciated.

Tracy, I have filed with the Florida Ags, and for each pdl I have I have also file with their state AG's, BBB, FTC and I keep sending the (pdls) a fax and email asking for my PIF letters and a refund.

If you're dealing with INTERNET pdl's, filing with the AG is on the right track. However, please also file with the FTC and the BBB and IC3. The FTC does pay attention to these complaints when they are received. Sometimes the BBB will come through for you quickly. Sometimes the AG will come through for you quickly. Sometimes the FTC will be the first to respond. The more agencies you file with, the more luck you're going to have getting responses. Each ipdl is different. When you file, tell them your story regarding each ipdl. It's not hard. Let them know the whole story, what's been going on, their responses, your responses, whatever. Each ipdl is different, as you may have paid some on one, nothing on one, over on one, etc. So just file those complaints. And unfortunately nothing is going to happen magically overnight. But, believe me, these people are receiving the complaints and they will take some sort of action. It might take awhile. In the meantime, keep on your ipdl's with emails and letters. If your mailed correspondence is returned, email them and tell them and ask for an address. Good luck with that! But you'll have hard documentation that their address is "no good". Points on your side. Keep all returned correspondence. Email the hell out of them while you're waiting to hear back from one of the agencies.
