I just looked at my credit report again and noticed phone #'s on my report that are totally inaccurate. can I get them removed? Some of these #'s are so old and some are a relatives #.
AHH help!

Send a letter to the credit bureau to update your info. They will send you the latest copy within 30 days. If you don't update your personal info, there is a risk that someone will use your actual info and open suspicious accounts. There won't be any concrete proof with you because of your personal info not being updated. Get this done immediately.

Thanks. So if my report was from expirian should I call them and find out where to mail my information too? I hope they will change it.

Are there any example letters? I am scared now (even tho my credit sucks) but I also don't want relatives information on my report that woul dhav enothing to do with anything on my report.

Okay, I figured out how to dispute online. So if I try to do it online, what happens next? It's just a phone number and 1 address I need to get rid of. And I have proof of my new address.

I just dont want stuff being sent to the worng address and or people calling phone numbers that do not belong to me. Is that commen for that to happen???? (meaning incorrect information getting on your report) How likely are they to update?
