I'm not sure, but I work with a lady who goes around asking people to take out payday loans for her...lol so i'm guessing she has a ton of loans out..and she needs someone to take out a loan to pay her loans.

I did not realize it until I was getting my affairs in order for bk, and I am ashamed to admit it, but I had 17. OMG - I am a paday loanaholic! I am so mortified! But things will get better - I am here and not getting any more in the hole than I have to.

We had 8 internet and 5 store fronts.

I don't even want to tell you what these pdls did to my checking account! And my bank would not close the account for me till I got everything straitened out They told me that I authorized the debits it was my fault. So I am thousands of dollars over drawn. I will be filing in a few weeks - as soon as I pay off my attorney that is. I had about 5 storefront the rest internet. I know - it is a scandal!

I included 15 paydayloans in my bankruptcy. I didn't have them out all at once, the most I had out at one time was 8. It was crazy and I thought it was never going to end. Getting payday loans to cover the fees for other payday loans.

These provide even more validity to the fact that this is an industry that is so wrong and out of control. There are of course some type of regulations (like no rollovers with storefronts), but geez the internet ones are like thieves.

Out of all that I had only one was a storefront, and unfortuantly I live in Wisconsin were they had no caps on the interest rates. :evil:

I had less than 10....But there are a lot of people here that had more than that..It's scary.

When I came here, I was embarassed because I had 6. I felt much better knowing that I wasn't the only one. And there was something I could do to get out of the trap, because I honestly did not see any way out until I found this forum.

I remember having 5 when I heard about this so called "easy cash". It went on to 7 ???????? 8 and maybe more. Then I started catching up with some while few were kept on hold. They were adding with interests and fees. That was the time I considered to settle some of the accounts because I was not able to pay all. Fortunately, I had a good income before I could pay all.

I had a total of 3 at one time - and reading the nightmare stories from some newcomers and members, I feel blessed that I found this site before I went any deeper!

Over a 4 year period I used about 20 of the companies. My main difference was I never defaulted. Like an idiot I paid and paid and paid. My AG office has been sucessful in getting some refunds for me but I will never recoup what I lost to these people. KYSIDE38
