I NEVER faxed in the paperwork. I spoke with British the very next week explaining that I did NOT want to start the program yet. I then spoke with Barbara later that week and again explained that I did NOT want to start the program yet. Lastly a Paul Pierce contacted me another week later and I again explained that I did not want to start the program yet and had not faxed in or returned the paperwork with my personal and debt information.
My checking account was still debited despite speaking with 3 different people telling them I did NOT want to start and they had no paperwork from me.
I then spoke with a "Jeff", who after yelling at me finally let me explain what happened. He assured me my checking account would be reimbursed. He assured me that "Mike" who was right beside him would do it the next day. It never happened and how nobody from ATSL will return my call.
Any help would certainly be appreciated. I can see that you are not fond of the word "theft" or "fraud" but I can't see how this is anything but that.

I live in Florida. My bank says they can't help me because I had willfully given the company my bank routing number and account number.
My bank told me the same thing about me giving the routing numbe
My bank told me the same thing about me giving the routing number and account number. We have to stop banks from dong this!!!!
Banks
If there is a unauthorized charge on your account there are forms that are to be filled out. Banks are governed by Federal law also. Even if you allowed a one time payment it does not give authorization to continue to take from your account. Tell them this was a unauthorized debit against your account.
Ask to talk to your bank manager they can to stop this and can give back your money

I was talking to a branch manager Friday when I was there on another manner. He agreed with the letter from the forgery unit of the bank that said that since I had supplied the number I had to take it up with the company. ( I did fill out all the forms at the bank, they sent those forms to their "forgery" department, even though I don't think this is actually "forgery" fraud or theft maybe....
Maybe I'll try again with my home branch manager and I'll call the fraud unit of the bank and talk to them also.
I'm considering a small claims court case which costs $155 just to file...but I need to do a bit more research to see if thats a viable option.
thanks for all the help thus far.....
Pyleus I spoke with the manager and he gave me the wrong informa
Pyleus I spoke with the manager and he gave me the wrong information. Every time that I call the bank (800 #) or go to the bank in person, I get a different explanation. Their response is "Well, I can't tell you why so & so told you that, because its wrong". They won't fix my account when its their fault and I have even mentioned FDIC Regulation E.
