My husband and I have some OLD debt. We are trying to purchase a mortgage loan and no one will finance us because of the old debt and it lowering our credit scores. I want to know if this program will help me and help me fast. We have signed a contract on a home and now we cant get financed because of these OLD accounts. Can you please help us and if not point us in the right direction to raise our credit score fast and purchase this home.

Hi Genia,

Welcome to debtconsolidationcare forums.

Your credit score depends on how well you can negotiate with your creditors and have a reasonably beneficial debt settlement with them. Higher credit scores takes you one step closer to the processing of your desired loan amount.

It will be a wise move to negotiate with the creditors and try to reduce your debt amounts. You can take the help of a debt consolidation company who will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf. They can help you to reduce your debts by a considerable amount by waiving off late payment charges, penalties, interest, etc.

The more regular you are in paying off your old debts, the higher the chances of getting a good rating from the creditors since their main aim is to retrieve money rather than giving you a negative marking. Debt consolidation will be a very viable option for you.

Once your old debts are paid off and you achieve a good credit score, you will be able to get the loan you are trying to get for your home.

We look forward for your active participation in the forums in the days to come.

Regards
Samuel
