If it is at all possible, I would go to another bank and open a new account before it is too late. Eventually your bank is going to have to close your account. Sounds like you have a horrible bank! :twisted:

Also, you should e-mail and send the ipdls a revokation letter revoking your permission to debit your account. By law, once you revoke this authorization, these ipdls have to stop the attempts at debiting your account.

Thanks for your reply, should I send the letters via certified? I have opened another account at a credit union and had my direct deposit cancelled but I am concerned over the amount of money that I am now oweing the bank on these charges. I explained the situation to the bank prior to the Jan. 4th date via phone and email, I was waiting for my last direct deposit to clear before closing it. I will try the letters and hope for the best.

K2watts, Also go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up your state laws on payday lending. In many states this is ILLEGAL. Also please call your Attorney Generals office consumer division and ask for help. They will help you. KYSIDE38
