I have a loan with CTC and they are harrassing me about the balance I owe. I woul dllke to take care of this but they want this all at one time and we have had medical problems and are short on cash. Can they legally take my paycheck. SWe live in texas

You need to revoke the voluntary wage assignment you agreed to when you took out the loan. You need to provide a copy of this to your payroll dept. as well. The law states that you CAN revoke this, and your PAYROLL DEPT. and CTC HAVE TO ABIDE by your revokation, it is a federal law. You also need to file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's Office as well as the AG's Office where CTC is located.

I don't have on me right now the rules of Texas, but CTC is illegally running an internet PDL in your state.

Send to them a revocation of the voluntary wage assignment and also advise them that they are not allowed to do business with anyone in the State of Texas. Notify your AG of the illegal activity as well.

CTC along with its affiliates must be stopped.

Go to this link. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/forums/wageassign-legal.html

You will find the copy of the revocation letter. Send a copy to your payroll also so that they are aware of this company. Make sure that you have a copy and the receipt of the certified letter. This will prove out your actions taken to resolve the matter.

Calyspo29;
Howdy neighbor, the following are links to State of Texas websites;

Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner
Link: http://www.occc.state.tx.us/

Office of the Texas Secetary of State:
Link: http://www.sos.state.tx.us/

I ran a check earlier today through Austin on CTC; They are not bonded or licensed for any kind of activity in the State of Texas for anything. If you need further assistance, holler at me! Please do ask mcranberra says, get that revocation letter, fill it out, print 3 copies, one for your bank, take to them IMMEDIATELY, the 2nd one, send to them CERTIFIED, RETURN REQUEST via the US Mail. You can fax them one, but still send a hard copy to them via certified return requested, US Postal service, okie dokie?

Again, feel free to holler for help ;)
