I received a call this weekend with a rep from this company in regards to a IPDL I have with Payday2go. When I requested that they send me a letter of validation to validate the debt and that I will not address them until I receive such letter, they had the nerve to lie and say that they have sent me several letter?!? I looked them up on the ripoff report and saw that this company has fradualently collected on debt that they had no right to. Does anyone have any experience with dealing with these people?

Verify the address to which they sent the letter. You will prove them if they are lying. Send your request to validate the debt in writing. You'll have a proof of your actions and they will be forced to provide the info.

Try calling Payday2go and see if they are accepting your payment proposal.

Thanks aciotsf. I did verify the address with the rep over the phone and he said yes that is what they had so of course I started calling his bluff and saying that I did not believe that they sent me a letter let alone several as he was claiming. He was extremely evasive on the phone and I ended up telling him goodbye and hanging up in his face. Of course this led to him calling me 4 more times where I refused to take his call.

Start recording the phone calls. Make sure that you know the laws in your state. Tell the company that you are recording the conversation and will present it to an attorney. These people must stop as they are violating the federal laws without providing valid proof.

When you verified the address, did they say it correctly or was it unknown to you?

Thanks for the info. I need to get a little tape recorder. When I repeated my address to him, he said that was correct. I was so upset because he was trying to out talk me that I told him I was hanging up unless they sent me a letter. That's when he decided to keep calling me back and I just kept hanging up because there was nothing more to talk about until the debt has been validated.
