Is there a way to prevent someone who has incurred a disabling injury from ai calls? I was a capital one memeber, then on august 9th, 2005, i was seriously inkjured in a bus accident. I had also been paying (as a 'benefit) for a capital one payment protection plan, which would offer protection in a case such as mine. After my injury, i informed capital one of my medical situation, and they said they woulod send someting regarding the protection plan. They never sent a thing, (even though i made repeated requests) sent me to a place called tdm (total debt managemnt - which apprently capital one had never heard of). I told capital one that i would be glad to provide all of my medical records regarding my injury. Sufice it to say, my hip joints are due to collapse soon, and i need surgery. Is there any way i can stop this?
Welcome to the Community :D I would keep trying to find out abo
Welcome to the Community :D I would keep trying to find out about their protection plan, but don't know if it will help. I had that too, got laid off, they sent me papers to fill out. I did, but nothing ever happened. If they won't send you papers, send them a letter, with copies of all medical claims, and tell them you have the protection plan, and would appreciate if they would take care of it. Keep telling them, or write them over and over, that you are injured, and have the protection plan, maybe, if nothing else, they'll get tired of hearing from you, and do something!!I am saying this, because this is what I have done in other cases. So sorry about your medical problems, and hope you get well soon. If you have any questions, please ask..KAren
Definitely keep after Capital One to provide you with the paperw
Definitely keep after Capital One to provide you with the paperwork you need for the payment protection. I had that with Capital One as well, and when I became disabled, they did cover me for as long as the terms of the coverage allowed. Good luck.
