Has anyone heard of QuickPay LLC?

From what I remember I had a loan with them a couple of years ago and it was paid in full, not to mention that it was renewed over and over for months, so it was paid including the finance charge. I am trying to find out if they are legal in the State of Florida to operate before I call them back.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info Karen. I checked the site and they are not listed by that name. Does anyone know if they have any dbs or aliases?
Thanks.

One thing to check - Even if they aren't licensed now, they may have been licensed when they made the loan years ago. Just checking the website may not be enough, I'd call the number for the licensing office and have them check their records.

Just called Florida Dept of Licensing and they are not licensed and have never had a licensed in the Florida. I will call them and tell them that they have never been licensed to do business here and that my loan should be PIF.

There is a feature on this site that allows you to record your calls . . . . I would suggest doing so as long as it doesn't violate your states laws on recording conversations . . . . Some allow it as long as 1 party knows it's being recorded, but others require both parties to be aware. You could always just inform the person that you are recording. You may even get a better response doing that.
I'd also follow up with a letter, fax, and email, if possible. The more you paper them the better.
