help with secured debt

im in debt and currently paying off as many things as i can afford to pay right now. im also looking into debt consolidation however most sites i have seen so far cant help with a car loan gone bad cause it is a secured debt yet this is the highest thing on my crdit report is there anything i can do to help fix this and get it off my credit?? please email me at email address removed as per forum rules - Mike


Welcome to the Community :D In debt consolidation you can put all your unsecured debt into one payment. If you registerd for the free credit counseling, someone will contact you and discuss this and other options you mat have. You can't do anything to get it off your credit report,it stays on for 7 years,I believe. But if you get them paid, it looks better than being unpaid. If you have any questions, please ask. jaelyn, most companies will not put your car payments in the program. But, you can include your other debts in the plan. You will get lower interests to pay and most of the fees will also be waived off. This plan will certainly allow you more saving and you will be able to contribute towards the car payments. Speak with a debt counselor and know your options. There are different debt management programs for different kinds of debts. All serve the basic purpose of making you debt free.

What if all my debt is secured debt...I still need help cause im falling behind and my credit score is falling lower every month im behind...There has to be help out there somewhere for people who are in over their head with Secured Debt?? A bank that give loans regardless of credit rating(based on money made)...or some program that will pay everything off for me so that I can pay them just 1 payment a month insted of all the numerous payments I am strugling with now!! Please tell me there is something other than bankruptcy!! HELP ME!!!
