Good morning all,

First of all, I took Mom to OSU on Monday. It was cold but we made it there and back okay. We actually made it out of there in an hour which was a new record for us. Her check-up went well. The surgeon was pleased with her progress and said she was looking really well. She went back to work yesterday. She has been dreading that but she said things went fine. I think she will also be working part-time from home too. She is still getting her strength back which her boss understands. They have worked together for years. I think he is happy that she is back to work :P She will retire later this year and she is really looking forward to that. I'm still on the job hunt. Nothing has really stood out to me and pay is not that great in my local area. I might have to have another commute just to make good money again. :roll: I do have an interview today with a good company for an office manager position. We'll see how that goes. I have two more interviews tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me. :lol:


Mishele, I'm glad your mom is doing well. I can imagine she's looking forward to retiring. As far as your situation with a job, don't give up hope. I can't tell you how many resumes I literally walked to different places before I got called. Your perfect job is out there. I hope you find it soon. Will keep my fingers crossed for you and your mom.

Hey Mishele! Glad to hear everything went good at the doctor! You'll find a job soon. Especially now that things are calming down with your mom you can concentrate more. :)

We need to hang out soon! I still have a few weekends off. Maybe a week from Sat? Let me know. :) I'll buy dinner. YAY! :)

I did get a VM today but it was a wrong number. Becuase I am totally NOT Matt Samson. And I don't have an exam on Tuesday.

I'll be hoping for your job Mishele! If you get this one, it will give us a reason to celebrate! YAY! :)

Thanks fins :) I have a good feeling about it too. They wanted a more in depth reference that my former employer does not do. I was able to get copies of my reviews from my former employer (thanks to HR) so I can fax them to him this morning. I'm glad I always got good reviews :D Plus, I am faxing two letters from my former vice president who also acknowledged me on a couple of different occassions. I don't think it can hurt. :P
