I am having a good time emailing this idiot from National Payday Advance to tell him that they are not licensed in Florida. He has been emailing me to make a payment and harassing me by calling my supervisor and asking her if I had financial problems because I am not paying my bills. I was totally pissed with him and after talking to my supervisor telling her that everything is OK with me, I decided to take on this company. They are not listed on the Florida payday loan licensed site. I even sent him the link so he could see it.
He said that if they were not listed is because they are licensed in Ohio. I emailed him back telling him that they had to be licensed in Florida in order to make loans to Florida people.
His reply was "you are sadly mistaken"...What an idiot. I emailed him again, this time telling him that I was going to check with my AG and see what steps I had to take to get this debt PIF. He said that if I didnt pay, my conscience was going to be bothered. (WTF!!!)
He keeps asking "What does that have to do with anything?" We do not have to be licensed in Florida to make loans there. He is such an ignorant idiot. To make things worse, I found out that they are working in Florida!!!! Their office is in South Florida. I can't believe that they are doing business here and are not licensed.

There is legally no way you can stop lenders from calling you as long as they are collecting on your debts. But, since this company is violating the laws by not being licensed in your state and you have paid off the principal amount, why not get some legal ammunition against them. Have a recording device attached to your phone. When they call you next time, mention it very clearly that you are recording the conversation and will be putting it in legal use. Now, let them say on the call and prove their violations. Speak with an attorney and sue them. There is no rule that creditors/loan company's calls cannot be recorded if they are breaking the laws.
